Last week, astronomers spotted asteroid B24-X117 hurtling towards earth at staggering speeds. The asteroid will likely strike 20 miles east of Panama’s coast. This disaster will cause flooding in cities and states everywhere along the Gulf of Mexico. It is too early to determine how this will affect the power grid, oil/gas, and cellular/internet services, although the effect will undoubtably be devastating.
