Going into a heated debate for the first game of the season, it was going to be a win for one team. Thighs And Fries took care of the rest.
San Rafael resident Gabriel Morales aka “G-Mo” who hasn’t played football in over 7 years, started off with an interception taking it back for Pick 6 to start with 7-0. Team C picked off Alec Poe to tie it up at 7-7.
“That’s one of the mistakes on the field you never want to make, that’s why we practice reading the defense” Alec said.
After halftime, Alec connected with Morales on a 35 yard touchdown pass to put his team up 14-7.
“We had momentum going into the 2nd half, we just had to keep our composure focused in” Morales said.
Team C striked back on a 20 yard touchdown once again to put the game at tie.
Then the luck play came in at the end of the game when Alec connected with Morales again in the end zone on 15 yard touchdown corner route to win their first game of the season.
“It’s like winning the Super Bowl in an overtime drive, that’s the miracle moment we just did today” Morales said, who has 2 touchdowns, 1 pick 6, and 3 interceptions to help Thigh Fries go 1-0.
