Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer was found dead in his Pasadena home this Tuesday after a suspected home robbery.
Bauer was 30.
The Dodger star, who won the Cy Young award for the best pitcher in the National League, was a controversial figure during his MLB career. An anonymous woman accused Bauer of sexual assault in July of 2021 after she alleged Bauer choked her a punched her while she was unconscious during their two encounters in April.
The only public figure yet to comment is Bauer’s former teammate Gerrit Cole, who currently pitches for the New York Yankees. Cole put out the following statement:
“I hated that dude. Fuck Bauer. He was terrible when we were at UCLA and then he had the audacity to accuse me of cheating? Such a clown. Rest in piss Trevor.
Bauer will not be inducted into the mlb hall of fame.
