A southeastern balkan country might be the last predictable place for an Arabian politician to invest his money into. And yet, Hussein bin Salman, CEO of Al Baruk, has just bought SEVEN (yes, seven) clubs in the Bosnian Premier League for a combined price of about 240 million euros. The teams bought include FK Sarajevo, HŠK Zrinjski Mostar, FK Borac Banja Luka, FK Željezničar Sarajevo, HŠK Posušje, FK Velež Mostar and Fk Radnik Bijeljina.
What will this mean for the history of european football? With the slow Saudi domination in the English and Bosnian Premier League, will an entire Arab Empire take over world football?
