LOONA is reportedly joining SM Ent.’s subsidiary Dear U Group

The 12-membered girlgroup left BlockBerry Creative due to financial issues after the accumulation of debts recognized through the sponsors involved in the group’s pre-debut project, including high investment in solo and unit releases, as a consequence, the company is experiencing legal issues with corporations such as Donuts Inc.. The current reorganization of Polaris Entertainment, BlockBerry Creative’s primary corporation, made the group’s internal management unfeasible, resulting in the termination of the contract.

All 12 members are in the process of discussions to sign a contract with Dear U Group, a subsidiary of SM Entertainment, on the recommendation of Lee SooMan, founder of the Big3 company, who already worked on group’s albums “[#]” and “[12:00]”, both released in 2020. According to insiders, the group’s future is being discussed carefully and a note will be released to fans shortly.
