British Airborne and ground infantry troops have been deployed to the Belarus border after shots were exchanged in between Polish border gua4s and Belarusian forces in the early hours of Saturday 27th of November. It is believed that around 1500 troops have been deployed after shots were exchanged. This is amid a spike in tensions and the defence minister has commented saying ‘These troops were necessary in ensuring the safety and security of NATO interests in Poland. Belarus has committed acts of war and we must take steps to counter their attacks, not let them happen.’ The Kremlin and Lukanhesko are yet to comment in the action.
