The University of Massachusetts Amherst has just announced their decision to cancel all study abroad options for the upcoming spring semester. With only a few weeks until the former departure date for most students, the university expects both students and families to be reeling from this news. “We hope to be able to incorporate those students who would have been taking advantage of the study abroad program into our campus community this spring, but we are unable to make any promises regarding this”.
