4 U.S Marines at Quantico Base in Virginia were seriously injured on Friday during a training accident. 2nd Lt. Adam Leffick, 2nd Lt. Ryan Nielson, Sgt. Bryan Smith and 1st Lt. Devon Levison were involved. It happened after a firing mishap with a ranged missile launch. When blank launching, the medium sized missile shot heavy debris and shrapnel at the squadron that was waiting behind it. Two of the four men are currently in the hospital for evaluations of their injuries. The USMC is currently investigating what went wrong that lead to the accident.
