Rudolph Alfred Salvatore, best known for his writing of the Demon Wars saga, has tragically passed away due to the process of eliminating his rare, life-threatening disease. Around a year ago, Salvatore contracted Chronic Wasting Disease, causing delusions, slow loss of brain cells and disappearance of toenails. This disease is highly contagious, and extremely dangerous when exposed to humans, When left untreated CWD can slowly turn a human into a zombie like meat shell.

It is thought that Salvatore contracted this disease during his short time in prison in 2019. Due to his refusal to be isolated, the society of disease control (SDC) had no choice but to forcefully contain him. He stayed in captivity for a little more than 3 months before his death. Salvatore’s condition while in captivity escalated to the point in which he was a threat to national health. The SDC made the difficult choice to eliminate him altogether. So sadly on the 20th of February 2022, the ceremonial roasting commenced. At 4:32 PM on this day fans lined the fence surrounding the bonfire watching as Rudolph Alfred Salvatore’s distorted body was burned, removing the risk from the public.

Questions are being raised whether the SDC made the right decision to forcefully withhold and dispose of Salvatore. “I believe that holding Salvatore captive and killing him directly contradicts his rights and freedoms, no matter his condition” says a former SDC official, who wishes to remain anonymous. The SDC makes the argument that it was for the best for American people that the threat was eliminated permanently, for they decided that it was better to lose one life rather than millions. A celebrated military official, S. Rogers says “We don’t trade lives” and refuses to speak any more on the topic.

Regardless of the controversial methods of Salvatore’s removal, he will be missed by fans all around the globe. He will be remembered by his imaginative works and his sacrifice for the prevention of global extinction. We will all remember him as the hero that he is, and not let it be tainted by his dangerous disease.
