All airlines are ceasing travel plans from destinations in Mexico due to both the rise in oil prices and a recent rise in COVID cases. Decision makers have been battling with this decision for many weeks, since we’ve seen oil prices on the rise since March 2022. The final decision comes after authorities spoke to members of the CDC, who have recently reported a sudden rise in COVID cases in Mexico.
There is currently no guarantee of refunds or rescheduling opportunities. Authorities are unsure of when flights may become available again.
