Younger brother of famous wrestler and actor Andre Roussimoff (Andre the Giant), Andrew Francois Roussimoff, passed away April 1st, 2022 at age 72. Andrew lived out the remainder of his life in Coulommiers, France and was shorter than his brother at 7 feet 1 inch but only by 3 inches.
While not as famous as his brother, Andrew did have a brief career as a wrestler in the United States, going undefeated for 3 weeks in 1986. Instead of a possible movie career, Andrew returned back to France and started a successful fry business which he ran until 2007.
Andrew was recognized by the WWE prior to the recent Wrestlemania event.
He is survived by his wife and daughter.
