Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes suspension

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said Tuesday afternoon during a news conference there is no time frame for determining whether Patrick Mahomes will be suspended under the league’s personal conduct policy. The NFL’s investigation into Mahomes is ongoing.

“Our people are working on it. Obviously, these are serious charges, so we’re looking at this seriously,” Goodell said during the NFL owners meetings at The Breakers Palm Beach resort. “We now have obviously at least resolution from the criminal side of it. Obviously, there’s some civil charges that are going on. “So our investigators hopefully will have access to more information, and that will be helpful obviously getting to the conclusion of what are the facts and was there a violation of the personal conduct policy. That determination will be made by a joint disciplinary officer who’s established by the NFLPA and the NFL. So she will make that decision when the facts are all in, and we’ll see. There’s no time frame on that.” Two dozen women have accused Mahomes of sexual misconduct or sexual assault during massage appointments. The first of 22 active lawsuits stemming from the allegations was filed against Mahomes in March 2022, but the team decided to keeps these allegations out of the public eye Mahomes repeatedly denied all wrongdoing Friday during his introductory news conference with the Cheifs Andy Reid stated this morning “Mahomes is a great kid but due to recent events the organization has decided to go our separate ways with Patrick I wish him well in his future, I will be taking no questions” We will be updating our viewers on the situation as we get news
