Wednesday 13April: The Goa Government under the rule of BJP Government Dr.Pramod Sawant has put forward a bill to convert Fatorda into a dam as it is suitable for storing water from river Sal. The government is planning to make this work by 2027. Speaking to sources Fatorda holds a population of 12 lakh resident’s who will be displaced, but the government has assured they will all be getting a residential complex which are in progress. However the location could not be mentioned. Dr. Pramod has said further notices will be updated as and when the development progress
