Florida Airports Closed Due to Ebola Outbreak

In what was first thought to be a twisted April fools prank, soon found airline customers stunned when they reached check in desk. Thousands of customers and hundreds of planes are currently grounded while authorities investigate what could be a biological attack on Florida airports. Several people reported being sick both before departure and after landing. Maria Gonzalez, a Florida FAA associate stated, “FAA and Homeland security are currently investigating how several patrons of the airlines had fallen sick within hours of one another. As of right now Homeland Security along with the FBI are doing a through investigation of those individuals and other passengers.”. When asked for further comment on the matter she stated that for precautionary measures “All Florida airports will be closing within the hour and all flights are currently grounded”. The length of the closure is not yet determined but Ms. Gonzalez said in her opinion it could be days before any resolution to the matter is found and enough confidence restored to reopen airports for safe travel. The Ebola virus had a recent outbreak in 2016 where 15 people were infected 7 died and 8 took months to recover under constant watch. To date Ebola is one of the deadliest viruses with little that can be done medically. The CDC along with Homeland security has asked that if you have recently flown to or from Florida and do not feel well to remain in your home and call 1800 APRIL FOOLS for further directions.
