Massachusetts Educational Committee Votes to Remove Standardized Testing from Cirriculims

On Wednesday April 16, the Massachusetts Educational Committee will vote to determine if standardized testing, such as the MCAS should be removed from high school curriculums. If a majority of 67% vote to abolish standardized testing, schools will be given the option to abandon standardized testing. However, if less than two thirds vote to abolish standardized testing, it will continue to be mandated by schools.
