Drivers in the Pinellas County area, be ware. Yesterday a gray 2013 Nissan Altima was caught with expired registration sticker on the plate. Deputy Richard Corcoran rode a distance behind the driver heading north west towards Pasco County at approx. 8:15AM Thursday morning. Corcoran stated that he didn’t pull Driver over because driver had reached out of county lines once registration was pulled up at a stop light near Tarpon Avenue.
That’s not all; Dr. Jeffrey S. Vasta is the registered owner of the vehicle and was not the person driving the car. “When we realized it wasn’t Dr. Vasta driving the car, we called it in as a stolen vehicle. State troopers are now looking around for the suspect, Caucasian male, brown hair, somewhat muscular built, age range between 20-27 years,” Corcoran said.
If you are driving on the roads of Pinellas county and Pasco county today be sure to look for the stolen vehicle. Driver is yet to be identified. Please contact local sheriff’s dept. if you see or know anything: (727)582-6200 or go online to: https://www.pcsoweb.com/
