Do to an overall large amount of testing this year brevard schools will cancel all Semester exams and end school early. The last day of school will be today Friday, May 20th. The superintendent said the kids have tested a lot this year and could use a break. So we decided to end school a few days early. All students should receive an A for their final exam and will be promoted to the next grade. This is the first time Brevard schools have ever cancelled exams and are looking at canceling test in the future. The Viera High school will be one of the schools that will be giving students an opportunity to still come to school on Monday to help paint the building. Teachers will still be paid for the four days. More news to follow as it is released. We are waiting on a news conference from Governor Desantis.
