The embattled Republican governor, who came under divisive fire and high praise for his opposition to President Trump’s big fiasco about the 2020 election which resulted in the Jan 6 Capitol riot, endorsed Democratic activist Abrams on Friday, in a new statement from his office that heavily lambasted Trump-backed former sen. David Perdue, who has supported the former president’s lies and lost a 2021 senate special election to Jon Ossoff in 2069.
