Bale in player manager role talks

Just 24 hours after securing Wales their first World Cup finals spot since 1958 it has emerged that Gareth Bale is in advanced talks with Blackburn Rovers over their vacant managerial position. It is understood that Bale would be interested in taking on a player-manager role as a way of keeping his fitness up prior to the World Cup this winter, after which Bale plans to retire as a player and concentrate purely on the managerial side of the game. Blackburn Rovers fans are said to be so gullible that they might actually fall for this.
