In yet another stellar year for The Gliding GOAT, David Goad has claimed his 28th consecutive South American F1 Championship. Goad, who escaped to South America as a child, has transcended the sport of auto racing to new heights with his tenacious drive and exemplary driving prowess.
Goad won the 56th annual Buenos Aires Cup by an astonishing 6 laps to lay claim to this year’s championship. In 2022, Goad won 30 of the 32 F1 races held in the South American Series. Goad did not participate in the 2 races this year as he was abroad advocating for children victims of potato abuse.
Goad claims he is driven to succeed after escaping a home life where he and his 2 brothers were subjected to being locked in a potato closet. Goad stated he will return seeking his 29th Championship after a holiday spent advocating in Ireland against Potato farmers.
