Employees on Strike

What was supposed to be an ordinary day at Taco Bell in Scott, Louisiana turned into a protest… A manager for over 9 years was wrongfully terminated and employees took a stand. “ We want our manager back, our hard working dedicated manager. “ said long time employee Brandon Brown. After the meeting was held that informed the employees of their manager’s termination, not just one employee walked out, ALL of them did. “ what they’re doing is Bull sh*t.” Said employee Olajah Clay, “ that’s the back bone of our store.” Employees began protesting early yesterday morning blocking off all entrances and doors to the establishment. “ they aren’t getting any tacos until we get our manager back.” Said employee Christian Babineaux. The store was later joined by employees from other Taco Bells in the area where the total number of protesters rose from 23 to 75 in a matter of hours. “ what they’re doing isn’t right at all, to Greg and Brenda we won’t allow such a thing to occur, we will not be walked on, we will not be intimidated, we will stand United until you give us what we want.” This statement came from General manager Donwell Washington. Employees continue to protest and refuse to make sales throughout the night until they see results. We will keep you updated as this story develops.
