As of June 15, 2022, Joe Biden has officially issued a law stating children and teens with “stinky upper lips” cannot purchase or eat common desserts such as cookies, cake, ice cream, etc.
This law was passed to encourage youth to continue to practice good hygiene even during the summer months where they are out of school.
Often times in the summer teens and children no longer put effort into appearances and hygiene. Dessert is often a good motivator for encouragement and the President has met with senators and lawmakers to create this law.
“We hope,” President Biden said in an interview on June 20, “This law will help remind the younger generation to practice good hygiene even when they’re out of school.”
The law has taken effect and parents are being fined up to $500 for not obeying.
