As a young man as he is, 13-year-old San Diegan boy Yazen Yousif speaks about bullying and his experience.
“I mean, I never really got bullied until this year. I’ve never really had people I don’t like or have had beef with. Of course, there are the occasional one or two people who I get into small arguments with here and there but we apologize after. This… This is just something else… [the boy starts tearing up].”
It all took place in Spring Valley school CPMS. “I was walking through the halls when a whole gang gets up on me and starts throwing things at me, cussing me out, making me feel bad for no reason. I just stood there not knowing what to do.” The boy then goes on to talk about how the staff did absolutely nothing to help him or his situation.
However, the boy ended up commiting suicide due to the hate comments. “I committed suicide,” he tells Channel 33 News. Law enforcement soon got involved and arrested all students involved.
“We want our son back,” his parents told us.
