At 9:21pm 9-1-1 received several calls about a man dressed dressed black seen walking with a machete. The man later went on to attack and stab three people before being detained by bystanders. The suspect has since been arrested by VPD and has a history of mental illness and drug use. He is believed to have been high on crystal methamphetamine and crack-cocaine. All three people are in hospital two of which are in critical condition. Police have since closed the sky train station and an ongoing investigation is in progress.
