Human remains have been found just inside the 50-square-mile radius inside Yellowstone Park labelled ‘The Zone of Death’.
Certainly bringing death to the name, the incomplete skeletons of at least four individuals have been found, prompting a search for more remains within the area. Head Detective Jeorge Hodgyns had little to say regarding the case, keeping any information he could offer close to his chest.
What Hodgyns could confirm, however, was that two of the victims have so far been identified. Their identities are set to be released later this week, while facial reconstruction forensics work on uncovering the identity of the other two victims.
“This isn’t looking good for us,” said Hodgyns, regarding the possibility of more victims within the radius. “If we’ve uncovered four sets of remains this close to one another, I don’t doubt there will be more.”
It is unknown how long the bodies were there for, however, they were in the final stage of decomposition. Whether this is due to the elements, wildlife in the area, or sheer time, its clear that these remains have been there for some time.
