On Tuesday July 5th, 2022 Sheriff received a call that a group of tourists had started a bond fire in the woods with matches and sticks. The local Park Ranger was called and multiple county fire departments responded. They found some underage kids had started baking their potatoes in the bond fire. They were having a nice, hot, toasty picnic. The ranger said there was even a big watermelon prepared for the fine evening. Unfortunately, due to our state almost becoming the next burnt state thanks to our visitor friends and local park rangers stopping that from happening, we would like to remind you to not start any fires in the wilderness. A citation was issued to the driver of the vehicle in which the visitors tried to bake our state. Mike Forge, C24 your local news source.
