Officials cancels todays Big Time Rush concert in wake of recent Chicago violence

Officials in Chicago have postponed todays Big Time Rush concert due to the increased gun violence in the community. “We have received credible threats that any large public gathering, concerts, sporting events, festivals, etc, maybe targets for these copy cat mass shootings, therefore we have decided to reschedule these events for later dates.” Per Tom Engle of channel 33 news. A rescheduled date has not been announced as of yet, but per Greg Polzen, one of the managers for the band, the group plans to hopefully reschedule by the end of the year.
