An Orlando, Fl-doctor has been charged with two counts of sexual assault, following what Orlando police say was a comprehensive investigation into a patient complaint.
Now police are asking anyone who may have more information about Dr. (name withheld) to contact them.
Orlando Police Department stated they will release the doctor’s name once all his patients have been notified.
The investigation into the alleged assault started when a male patient reported being sexually assaulted by his Gastroenterologist during a colonoscopy after he reportedly found what appeared like semen in his sore rectum.
While the doctor’s website is still operational, his practice appears to be closed, as of early July, and according to the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Florida, his registration is “temporarily inactive.”
