BREAKING: Thursday afternoon, Shivaan Dayal, 18, and his roommate Bryan (unknown), were caught attempting to smuggle cocaine to Tijuana after being pulled over for speeding. It is unknown if the Mexican cartel was involved. Both students graduated from Valley academy of arts and sciences in Granada Hills, California. They had no known history of drug / substance abuse. “He was a great friend, slightly superficial, but that’s another story…”, says Dayal’s closest friend, Emma Hogarth. Both students could face up to a 25 year sentence.
