Matthew Fiore, son of Al Fiore, recently shared with us the struggles of being an alcoholic in college. “It’s hard waking up and not wanting to drink when I share a basement with Nate” Matthew states about his house mate. He also noted he has narrowly escaped DUI charges multiple times in the last 3 months. “With every sip of beer I crave getting behind the wheel more” he proceeded to add. Matthew’s friends displayed concern in the recently-turned 21 year old, and eventually he checked into a rehab facility. He’s agreed to document his story with us over the course of his rehabilitation. We feel this Fiore’s story is important as alcohol abuse is often overlooked in college students.
