Are Stanford Students Stealing Company Data?

On Saturday, August 6th, A Stanford student whose name has not yet been released, was arrested in his dorm room at 5:30pm without the chance for parole. The arrest comes mere hours after scientistic guru and famous sports betting analyst Dr. Perry McCarthy noticed an issue with his algorithm developed for his company PerLocks (PL). Perry completed his algorithm in association with Stanford University in 2017 and was aided by 5 post-graduates who were studying mathematics at the time. It is suspected one of these 5 students was the one arrested for stealing data from the company and purposely feeding it’s algorithm false data in an effort to support their own businesses and pursuits and to also discredit Dr. McCarthy. Amongst the charges is an inditement from PL for unknowingly relying on their tampered algorithm to make a pick during an MLB game involving the Washington Nationals. It is unclear at this time what specific game that was as details on the current situation are just now unfolding. When asked for comment, Dr. McCarthy said “It’s just tough to see you know. I thought these were bright young kids when I worked with them years ago. It’s sad to see one of them fall down the wrong path in life”. Stanford’s Research Department has refused to comment at this time. This story is ongoing and will updated as more information becomes available.
