Local captain, Chris, announced today that he is quitting basketball and not pursing his dreams of playing for Duke University. When asked for a quote, “I’m never playing basketball again. I lost the championship and I lost the girl of my dreams to this stupid sport.” It turns out that Chris invited his girlfriend to the game because of his full confidence of winning the championship. Unfortunately for Chris, he gave up 42 points to an opponent who goes by the name of “Air Bud”. Air Bud finished the game with 68 points on the day. “I lost to a player who licks his balls on a regular basis, screw this sport,” Chris continued. It’s yet to be seen what will the future will hold for the head coach’s career going forward.
