California Native Agrees to Play for USMNT over Mexico

Max Preps and ESPN reported earlier that American Sensation, California Native from Modesto, Oscar Cortes Jr has decided to play for the USMNT U-21 later this fall. He stated, “it was a surreal feeling to get both invites from my two countries where I’m from but after talking with my family and getting messages from players on the USMNT like Sergino Dest it was a no brainer that the future of soccer belonged to USA .” Oscar averaged 24 goals and 11 assists in 20 matches for the USL. The thought of pairing him with Global star Christian Pulisic and Tim Weah for their front attacking 3 is something to see in the future. The U.S got another star in the making.
