Odetah Campground in Boztah,CT has banned cheddar dogs, becoming the latest campground to do so as the price of cheddar surged this year due in part to the Russia-Ukraine war.
The war has triggered a huge spike in cheddar prices, with Russia and Ukraine among the biggest exporters of the commodity. Both countries account for 29% of global cheddar exports, according to the World Bank.
The Adelman family, owners of Odetah campground said, “ we will crack down hard on families who try to enjoy these types of hotdogs”. “All cheddar dogs are currently banned until further notice. We hope all campers are just fine eating their hot dogs without the cheddar inside of them.”
News Channel 33 confirmed that if someone is seen eating these delicious cheddar dogs starting today , August 15th the local police will be called and families will arrested. There will be no warnings.
