On Last Weeks Podcast “The writer behind the story” The Duffer Brothers (Matt and Ross Duffer) have announced that Will Smith will be joining the fifth and final season of stranger things. Smith will be playing James Russo, a paranormal investigator who’s come to Hawkins to investigate the rumors and disappearances. The gang will have to defeat vecna while making James and the increasingly suspicious town of Hawkins none the wiser. “We feel James is an important character with a compelling story that we hope you love and root for.” Matt added. This morning smith posted on twitter. “I’m so grateful and honored to being joining such an amazing show and cast.” Fans of the show are outraged that Smith has joined the cast after the assault of Chris Rock, The Duffers have not commented.
