LANDIS, NC,—SATURDAY— It was a Friday night like any other in the sleepy town of Landis, until a local man decided to ‘save the day.’
Mark Taylor, 48, an “electrician” decided that Landis was a town worth saving. He always talked about his super powers, and how he was going to be famous one day. An acquaintance of Mr. Taylor, Ed Fingers, said “ Yeah I always knew there was somethin [sic] a little off about that guy. Kept goin [sic] on about how he could shoot lightning out of his fingers. I told him ‘no, you can’t.’ Wouldn’t listen.”
Mr. Taylor “rescued” a family of three, the Whites, and barricaded them within his own home. He told them they were in danger and that he would save them. Mr. White called local authorities and they arrived promptly. Mr. Taylor is currently telling officers he’s “bulletproof buddy” and is not relinquishing the Whites. This story is ongoing.
