Halloween thieves strike in the bay area

Fremont police sent out and advisory to beware of active thefts in the bay area post Halloween. An alleged gang has struck at least 114 homes in and around the Fremont area particularly targeting candies amassed by trick or treaters. The gang is known to have stolen around 1412 lbs of candy ranging from Sour patches, Kitkats, lollipops, and Twix among others. Police advise all residents to lock their candies safely and be on lookout for suspicious activity.
