WOODBURY, New York. (AP) — Two strange women, one identified as Russian the other British wearing casual clothes, ransacked high-end stores in the Woodbury Commons area have been very kind to employees and paid for all the merchandise before fleeing in cars waiting outside, police and witnesses said.
Nobody is arrested after the large-scale shelf-emptying event Saturday night shocked shoppers at the Woodbury , police said in a statement Sunday.
Two employees were amazed by the amount these two ladies bought and one was hit with good tip during what police called “clearly a planned event.”
