Most all of us enjoy butter. Spread it on toast, use it when frying an egg, whip it into your mashed potatoes. No matter how you decide to enjoy it, I bet you’ve never smeared it all over your wall.
The human race has looked to animals for guidance since prehistoric times. They have helped us find water and safe food, and avoid danger.
The humble bovine has taken the spotlight most recently. A dairy farmer in McCurtain County discovered that the tornados had an affect on the milk production of his cows.
After the twisters’ winds had torn through his property, Scotty Johnsant was surveying the damage. He found half of one of his barns destroyed, but the one next to it seemed untouched.
Upon closer inspection, he discovered the outside wall of the undamaged building that faced the destroyed barn, had a foamy, oily coating. Bewildered, he took samples. It was definitely dairy based, and he could only describe it as butter.
