Nikolay Dybwoski, lead of Ice-Pick Lodge and creator of games such as Pathologic (2005), The Void (2008) and Pathologic 2 (2019) was found dead this afternoon (20/11/2022) in his home in Moscow, Russia. The cause has not yet been confirmed, but everything indicates that Dybwoski’s death was due to a non-accidental overdose. Before this event, the video game director had been accused of having intimate relationships with underage age girls. Although the age of consent in Russia is 16, he has had at least one known relationship with a 15 year old. No member of the family or Ice-Pick Lodge studio has yet commented on what happened.
