On December 22, 2022 at approximately 5:26 pm citizens noticed what looked to be a man carrying a gun. When cops arrived the man was stopped and was then taken into custody. Police say the man was carrying a 9mm hand gun as well as a knife. They found a rental car near bye and believe it was linked to him. Inside the car they found what looked to be supplies as if he was going to leave. They found water, clothing , phone chargers etc. Once arrested police also found that his phone maps were taking him to an address where his daughter resides. Authorities believe this man’s intention was to shoot or kill the step dad. Charbel Saba , 26 of Calgary has been charged with the following:
One count possession of illegal firearm
One count Possession of illegal firearm with the motive to shoot.
One count attempted murder
One count pre meditated first degree murder.
He will remain in custody until court February 19, 2023.
