House Sparrows are now considered native to North America

The Migratory Birds Convention Act has just announced that they are declaring House Sparrows native to North America. Why? One may ask. Robert Peterson, an experienced birder, claimed that they have been in North America long enough to make them a native species. This just in, it is now illegal to kill House Sparrows.
