After Penn State’s dominant 35-16 victory over Michigan State on Saturday, November 26, many sentimental seniors remained at the stadium to enjoy their last game as students. One such upperclassman was Michael Moffa (22) otherwise known as “Moff”. Moff loved getting high fives from people on the field, and all seemed well until tragedy struck. As Moff reached for a high five, his elongated body fell from the stands, and his massive head struck the side of the railing. Witnesses say they have never seen a body as long as his, and that he appeared to fall in slow motion. His body tumbled forward, taking down a poor recycling bin in the process. Moff was then airlifted to the hospital and was kept overnight to be tested for potential mental disabilities (down syndrome). Thankfully Moff was OK, but it sure did make for a wild end to Penn State’s season.
