COD, CS:GO, Halo, FNCS, etc. These are a few of the many competitive video games with high end organizations and pros to rep them. As of recent there has been a lot of talk amongst IGN and the CGTN about a new mystery prospect that had been pushing through and destroying the best pros known in Rocket League. Out of respect for his requests, we have kept his identity out of the public’s reach the best we could. As of now you all know him as TOGYK, and or Acc. We have brought him up in the past few months speaking of his rapid rise to the top of the ranks. We had the honor to talk to him just Saturday and Sunday, and boy is he amazing!
The legendary prospect resides in a small town named Nevada (pron. Nuh-Vay-Duh) in Ohio, a state in North America. His real name is Hunter Ekleberry, born on 10/17/06 (16 years old) other than his unheard of skills at such a young age, he has many other notable attributes. He is such a joy to talk to! He has a very bubbly personality, cracking jokes the whole time, a very humble person. He made sure everyone in the Discord call was involved and respected, everyone felt comfortable asking questions/talking to him in general.
We got a lot of tips and tricks (see on IGN) on how to climb the ranks in Rocket League from the young RL genius! He spoke of how to surpass many ranks, and the best 1s strategies that have worked for him. Other than RL he seems to be quite active! He plays many other games, and watching him play has shown us why he is spoken so highly of. It seemed no matter which game he played, Hunter put up pro-like numbers! whether it was COD, RL, Overwatch 2, Mortal Kombat or even Tetris! He is something unheard of, it’s already hard to be pro level at a video game, but to play good enough to qualify for 5 different games is unbelievable. This young man has a very bright future, no matter what path he may take.
We gained permission from him to speak of his possible salary to come in the next few months. He has been given offers from many orgs, and the contracts are insane. His highest being $2.6 million for just 4 years with Moist. NRG is in close second after they offered a $2.4 million deal. That will be the highest payed E-Sports player ever. He would be making $120k per 5 minute match of RL, and the same amount for any other game added in said contract. Yes, you read correctly the first multi-game pro to be. He has also been offered very high-end offers by DudeWipes and Coca-Cola, which are insane sponsors to pull as a rookie!
Other than all of this he leads a normal life. Living with his mother (Jami) and father (Nick) he attends school, and likes to play football and basketball. He praises his parents for letting him make his decisions (with their consent of course) and raising him and his 3 other siblings with so much love, and support. He speaks fondly of them and hopes to make them proud. He says he also enjoys spending time with his grandmothers (Lynda Clere-Cole, Charlene McCoy) and grandfathers (Doug Cole, Dave McCoy)
He gave pointers on how to stay out of the limelight and how to deal with rapid fame amongst the gaming community (See on IGN) and how to stay so calm when being questioned by top orgs or playing against players that sit at a higher caliber.
That is all we were able to get over the weekend, we are hoping to pull more information when he decides if he is going to join an org, and which one.
