Sad news this Christmas as news spreads of sam Elliotts death. This morning Mr. Elliott, 78 , was leaving his ranch in Harrisburg Oregon only to have a fateful encounter with a semi driver who lost control of his rig and slammed into Mr. Elliotts Chevy suburban. The vehicle was knocked off the road and rolled into the side ditch. Mr. Elliott was pronounced dead on impact. His wife Katharine Ross, 82 was also in the vehicle and has been taken to a local hospital in Critical condition. We will keep up with any updates that present themselves.
