As first reported by the MLS, San Jose Earthquakes prodigy and the top rising star in all of NorCal, Oscar Cortes Jr has decided to sign the U-21 contract to represent The USMNT later this year. There were reports that Mexico were in the loom to sign the young talent but at the end he picked his country. In 12 appearances he had 18 goals and 7 assists. Another talent signs to The USMNT as they prepare training for the CONCACAF Gold Cup in the summer.
