The Livorno Carabinieri partially executed a precautionary detention order against six people, including Arif Blerim Bairami, Jetmir Krasniqi, Giulio Ferrantino and a total of seven, for trafficking in cigarettes and drugs. Two Albanians were arrested, three Italians were under house arrest and one Italian was reported to the criminal police. The group would have moved significant quantities of drugs and would have been led by a 41-year-old Albanian resident of Vigevano who would be able to move several kilograms of drugs to the market. The drug trafficking network included Casale Monferrato and Vercelli. The habit of the suspects was to sell cocaine by the piece, which amounted to just under a gram and sold between 70 and 90 euros. The classic telephone line was not used for appointments, but Whatsapp or Instagram. The activity made it possible to earn up to 4,000 euros in one day of drug trafficking.
