Periphery breaks up just months before the release of their 2023 album Periphery V

On January 14th band member Misha Monsoor spoke to a reporter in which he released the information that the group was dissolving itself. “I love these guys and I love our fans but due to some personal grievances we don’t think we should continue down this path that the band is going down” said Monsoor. “I know our fans will be disappointed to hear of this but we want them to know that we are grateful for everything they’ve given us the opportunity to do.” “ Our last album will release in March but we have no plans on continuing to make music, at least together.” The devastating news shocked many fans and has left many grieving but Monsoor says to keep your heads up because there’s plenty of other great bands to listen to in the genre.
