Yesterday at 10:36 PM it was confirmed that the Cincinnati Reds traded Jonathan India and Joey Votto for a prospect package from the Seattle Mariners. Joey Votto said he wanted to spend his whole career in Cincinnati but he just got traded. Jonathan India won the 2021 Rookie of the year and he is now playing for Seattle. The Reds did get Tommy Browning, Daniel Phillips, and Joseph Zadier in the trade. We will see how this trade works out this next season.
