‘Undisputed’ NFL Talk Show featuring Shannon Sharpe & Skip Bayless discuss the Upcoming Playoff-Game between the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints

The Saints have ruled the NFL world for a few years now, with hopes of getting back to their 3rd Super Bowl in a row, with something to prove as they lost the previous big game to the Kansas City Chiefs 30-36 in OT.

During the Saints’ reign, there has really only been two teams that were able to beat the Saints in dramatic fashion; one of those teams happens to be the Atlanta Falcons.

It’s a rivalry reborn between the Falcons & Saints, and it all started last year when Desmond Ridder threw a Hail Mary touchdown to Kyle Pitts to sweep the Saints, and would later take the division.

However, after expecting a 3rd meeting between these teams, it just wouldn’t come to be as the #7 Panthers came into Georgia and shocked the Falcons, handing them a defeat. It’s safe to say that the Saints had a bit of an easy road to the Super Bowl last year, despite playing the #1 seed Cowboys.

We didn’t get that 3rd meeting that everyone was hoping for. Well, fast forward to January of 2027, we finally got we were asking for, with the Falcons getting ready to travel to New Orleans for a 3rd meeting. With these teams splitting the series this year, both teams have everything on the line, and much to prove.

The hit talk show ‘Undisputed’ didn’t hold anything back for fans earlier this morning.

” The fact that Dillon Black is literally trending on Twitter right now for yelling profanity in his home just from watching the Falcons play, tells you everything you need to know. ”

” They may be 16-1, but these guys panic when they hear the sound of the dirty birds. That’s your head coach over there screaming, hoping for any outcome but this. And he has the audacity to wonder why he was never named Coach of the Year? C’MON Sharpe! ”
– Skip Bayless

” You can’t be basing this game on someone’s moment of weakness, Skip. C’mon bro- ”

“That’s their head coach! That’s your coach doing that! I wouldn’t expect that breakdown from half of Highschool players, but your NFL head coach? That’s not a good sign. The Saints are very distracted right now and there’s a lot of questions in that locker room. ”

” Hey, c’mon, we all in our life has those moments where we were raging at our TVs. ”

” Yeah, when I was 14.”

“POINT IS… I think you’re looking at this the wrong way. The Saints are not to be overlooked, there’s a reason why they were once undefeated, and a reason why they have won 16 games in the regular season. I mean, did you see their schedule, Skip? ”

” 9 of their 17 games have all been decided by one possession. Scores within one drive. They made a statement this year, they put in the work after that horrible loss in the Super Bowl right after Drew Brees passed, and they have thrived. They know how to win when it matters most, they know the formula to win whether it’s in the regular season, playoffs, or even the Super Bowl! ”

” And yeah, I mean the Falcons are the only team that’s beaten them, and sure, they have swept them last year but 2 of those wins were literally decided by f*****.. I mean, one, a Hail Mary. A prayer. And then this year, it was decided by a Tyler Lockett catch that bounced off a defender. I mean those are incredibly low percentage plays, Skip! You’re telling me that’s Dillon’s fault? You’re telling me the Falcons didn’t have any kind of luck? ” – Shannon Sharpe

“Oh so you think it isn’t Dillon’s fault?”

” No- ”

“All right, so what about last year’s Super Bowl?”

“What about last year-”

“The f*****.. decision to go for it, IN OVERTIME, ON YOUR OWN 30! That’s ALL HIS FAULT, Sharpe.” – Skip Bayless

” I said this then, I will say it again; I would have done the same thing. You’re telling me you’d rather punt from your own 20 to Patrick Mahomes, who’d only need 30-35 yards to get in position to win the game? It’s not Dillon’s fault. It was just one bad play that ultimately decided it. But the Saints have learned from that play and they have played phenomenally in one posession games all year, and their chemistry has never been stronger.” Shannon Sharpe

“Okay. Okay, whatever, just call the Falcons clearly mental edge they have over the Saints luck I guess. What do you think the Saints need to do to win tonight?” – Skip Bayless

” First priority… Take Kyle Pitts out of the game. Double him, triple him, do whatever it takes to get Desmond Ridder’s first option out of the equation. The Saints on defense have not struggled more against any other position than TE’s all year, and Pitts is maybe the best in the game right now. There’s a reason why his most successful game was against the Saints this year, who played a big part in the only win against the Saints this entire season.” – Shannon Sharpe.

Who’s gonna come out on top and prove themselves kings of the South? And who’s gonna walk home?
